As part of efforts to ease the burden and resolve the daily challenges encounter in transporting people with different health complications including pregnant women, the representative of District Number Five in Lofa County has taken the initiative to make available an ambulance to the Faith Medical and Laboratory Clinic.

Making the commitment to his people, representative Augustine B. Chiewolo highlightd the importance of contributing to the health sector of Lofa, a county that is noted for been a densely populated and one of the fasted growing political sub-divisions of Liberia.

Honorable Augustine B. Chiewolo, narrated that in order to address the critical challenges citizens face in their search to access quality healthcare services, transportation should not prevent them from restoring their health through medical services.

In a statement made by Honorable Chiewolo during an interview in salayea city on August 3,2024, he reaffirmed his commitment to advancing healthcare services in the two administrative districts.

According to him the ambulance will be presented to the Faith Medical and Laboratory Clinic as part of efforts to bolster emergency response capabilities in Zorzor and Salayea districts, ensuring efficiency in transporting patients.

He further described the donation as key to citizens and residents of the region because it will help in addressing ongoing challenges when it comes to accessing health care. As the ambulance undergoes its test drive, it is poised for official handover, promising free access to both administrative districts.

The Ambulance when presented will be under the full control of the Faith Medical and Laboratory Clinic in Salayea administrative District own by the representative to provide critical emergency services and ultimately improve community health with free access to citizens and residents of the District.

In another development, the honorable representative has presented a huge quantity of medical supplies to nine medical clinics in Zorzor and Salayea Administrative Districts.

The presentation was in fulfillment of campaign promises made during the electoral period, Representative Chiewolo noted.

The drugs and medical supplies are intended to provide free treatment and other medical services to pregnant women, children under five and the elderly men and women at a cost free.
