A young woman named Kadiatu Dorley was tragically stabbed multiple times to death by her boyfriend, known as ‘Mother Blessings in Gold Camp, Grand Cape Mount County.
The incident occurred after an alleged dispute over Kadiatu’s interactions with a Turkish national who is an employee of Bea Mountain Mining Company.
Sources report that the conflict escalated when the suspect, ‘Mother Blessings,’ accused Kadiatu of being involved in a relationship with the Turkish workers.
The situation worsened when ‘Mother Blessings’ attempted to confront the Turkish individuals at an entertainment center, though the altercation was reportedly settled without further incident at that time.
Later during the morning hours of July 31, ‘Mother Blessings’ allegedly followed Kadiatu to her residence, brutally assaulted her, and stabbed her multiple times in the neck.
The injuries were severe, leading to Kadiatu’s untimely death due to excessive bleeding.
Community members reported the crime to the local police station, seeking the arrest of ‘Mother Blessings.’ However, they were advised to first contact the Town’s Authorities, as the police claimed they could not act without the local authorities’ knowledge.
As it stands currently, the remains of the victim is lying down awaiting burial.
