The General Auditing Commission (GAC) has launched a Performance Audit on the Delivery of Free Tuition Policy at all Public Universities and Community Colleges across the country.
To kickstart the process, the Grand Gedeh University College over the weekend received guests from the General Auditing Commission (GAC).
The visitation was intended to conduct an in detail assessment tour on the entire compound of the college including other facilities that belong to the college.
The assessment focused on the infrastructural and other necessary facilities that are needed at the institution. The exercise also focused on the students wellbeing while they enroll at the institution.
The auditing team together with the administration walked around the entire campus monitoring various departments facilities.
Meanwhile, the auditing team invited students to the auditorium to solicit their views on the “Free Tuition Policy. In addition, the auditing team provided test questions of multiple choice and essay which allowed students to freely give their opinions on the college.
Students at the institution were glad that their feedback were processed through GAC Performance Audit on the Delivery of Free Tuition Policy at Public Universities and Community Colleges.
The auditing team explained in detail that, students should be free to express themselves because based on their comment the government of Liberia will know exactly how to have the Free Tuition Policy system improved. In conclusion of the assessment, GAC conducted an exclusive interview with administration on matters relating to the Grand Gedeh University College.
