One of the candidates in the Faculty Election at Nimba University Theophilus Younquoi has vehemently refuted claims made by Team Philip Kwahmie that he has been taking money from Students benefiting on the walls of two of the University’s deceased Professors. Recently Mr. Philip Kwahmie accused Theophilus Younquoi of collecting money from Students studying at the University in order to award them scholarships belonging to Professor Alloy and Assistant Professor Samuel Wuo, both of whom are Dead.
But responding to the allegation, Theophilus Younquoi clarified that the scholarships in question were his personal request made to the University President Dr. Jesse Noah Mongrue.
He emphasized that at no point in time he Theophilus Younquoi awarded scholarships to students which are direct benefits of the institution’s deceased Professors. Meanwhile, Mr.
Younquoi is calling on members of the Faculty Association to support his reelection bid if the integrity of the Association must be upheld. The Nimba University Faculty Association Election is expected to take place on Monday, July 22,2024, at the Campus of the institution.
