Against the Appointment of Dr. Raphael Shamavu as County Health Officer of Lofa County, Aggrieved Health Workers in Lofa County have embarked on a go-slow across public health facilities in Lofa County. Below is the main gate to the Lofa County Health Team Offices and the Out Patient Department (OPD) of the County’s biggest referral hospital,Tellewoyan Memorial Hospital in Voinjama. Workers have abandoned the facility. Patients, including pregnant women, are now left hopeless. It’s still unknown for how long this protest action will last.
