The minister of internal Affair Minister has Pleaded with Aggrieved Workers and Community Members to Stay Claim, As The ministry Investigates Radio Kakata Saga.
A month or two ago, journalists believed to be workers of Radio Kakata, a community radio station in Margibi County, submitted a formal complaint to the Superintendent Hon. Victoria Worlobah Duncan requesting the removal of the station manager Mr. Jerry Jenkins Quoi over allegations of fraud and miss management of the institution.
Upon receiving the complian, the superintendent immediately suspended the station manager for time indefinite, citing that the manager should stay down until final investigation is concluded.
The Aggrieved Workers and some boad members Over the time have been looking forward to the county Superintendent Hon. Victoria Worlobah Duncan as she works collaboratively with the Internal Affair Minister in addressing the issues.
Meanwhile in a join interview with reporters on Tuesday July 23,2024 after the final hearing held at the kakata city Hall, the minister of internal Affair underscore that they are going to look in the matter thoroughly and they will come out with a final report.
He’s at the same time urging everyone to remain peaceful as they jointly work with the county’s legislative caucus to resolve the situation.
